Siouxsie Q has been hiding her true identity. Well, maybe her impassioned rants about Glee may have tipped you off, but in this episode her secret is OUT! Siouxsie is a big theater nerd. Like, big time. So this episode she lets her theater boner hang out.
The WhoreCast had the privilege of sitting down with the playwright and cast members of Krispy Kritters in the Scarlett Night, a brand new play that just had its world premiere right here in San Francisco. The play features themes of sex work, sex worker characters, and even a member of the cast is a sex worker! We had a ton of questions about the process, politics, taxidermy, the Tenderloin and more! Join us, and don't be ashamed of the theater boner that this episode may result in. You don't need to be ashamed. Be proud.
Also, if you'd like to join the elite, Siouxsie has a super secret theater nerd trivia question only for those loyal enough to tweet her @Siouxsie_Qxxx (Jesse is NOT invited to play)
Big thanks to Andrew Saito and The Cutting Ball Theatre for making this episode possible. And big thanks to Siouxsie's arch-nemesis, the notorious Penny Barbur, for suggesting we check out the play. One point for you, Penny. But we've got our eye you....
